Bellagard Sculpted Wall Panels give Philadelphia salon stylish edge
PHILADELPHIA—When renowned Philadelphia hair stylist Sam Lavella set out to design a salon that was uniquely his own, he turned to Bellagard Wall Finishings for a stylish edge like no other in the City of Brotherly Love. Lavella’s vision for Salon Moxi was to create an establishment that featured an industrial design with plenty of open space.
The salon’s centerpiece, a custom L-shaped desk located inside the main entrance, featured a combination of Bellagard’s sculpted wall panels and BellaLucent “Industrial” panels to achieve depth and texture. The concept for the desk came about when Bellagard account manager Helene Price showed Lavella several samples of sculpted wall panels. Lavella, in turn, was immediately drawn to utilizing the panels in his salon.
The BellaLucent panels were applied around the sides of the desk for a custom, three-dimensional look. Making use of almost all of the 4-by-8 foot panel material, Lavella also designed cabinet doors out of the leftover pieces to accent the salon’s interior design. The cabinets are used to store towels and other supplies at each of the stylist stations.
Lavella’s Salon Moxi opened to rave reviews for not only its stylish cuts but its stylish salon atmosphere thanks in part to Bellagard Wall Finishings and BellaLucent panels. |
